Chudi Asidianya, the Chief Administrative Office is a Politician of international stature, Public Relations, Policy Analyst, Community Activist, a Family Violence Prevention Consultant, Employment/Immigrant Settlement and Resettlement Consultant. Chudi Asidianya is an active and a member of the Ontario and World-wide Community Development Activist. Chudi Asidianya is an Analyst by profession and has been employed for 26 years as a Consultant with Ontario Works Durham. He served in various capacities as Director representing equity initiatives at the Durham Local Training Board, now referred to as Workforce Planning Boards whose roles were to gather intelligence about the supply of labour and the demand side of the local labour market by working with employers to identify and meet their current and emerging skills needs. The primary role of Workforce Planning Boards is to help improve understanding of and coordinate community responses to labour market issues and needs

Chudi Asidianya is a recipient of numerous commendations for his work on innovative governance, empowerment and various community development initiatives. His human and infrastructural netted him award and commendation from The Community Development Council Durham, Durham Community Legal Clinic and the Durham District School Board Ethno-cultural Advisory Council.

Chudi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master’s Degrees in Social Sciences and Public Policy and Administration, United Nation’s Kofi Anan Centre for Excellence certification for Election Observation and International Peace Keeping, Life Skills Coaching certificate and over 10 years frontline Family Violence prevention Facilitation.

Hon. Dr. Alvin Curling:

 

Hon. DrDr. Irvin Alvin Curling is a prominent Canadian. He was Canada’s envoy to the Dominican Republic from 2005-2006. A former politician in Ontario, Canada, he was Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario until he resigned his seat in the Legislative Assembly on August 19, 2005, to accept a diplomatic posting as Canada’s ambassador to the Dominican Republic. He had been a Liberal MPP for twenty years, from 1985 to 2005.

Hon. Dr. Alvin Curling was educated at Seneca College and at York University in Toronto. He began working as an educator in 1972, and served as President of the World Literacy of Canada organization from 1981 to 1984

Hon. Dr. Alvin Curling was first elected to the Ontario legislature in the provincial election of 1985 as a Liberal in the suburban Toronto riding of Scarborough North. Curling defeated Progressive Conservative candidate Carole Noble by about 8,000 votes.

His personal total of 30,504 votes was a provincial record at the time

The Liberals formed a minority government after this election, and Curling was appointed Minister of Housing on June 26, 1985. He was the first Black Canadian to hold a cabinet-level position in Ontario. During his time as minister of Housing, he expanded the parameters of Ontario’s rent control program, and announced a $500 million initiative for new urban housing. Curling was easily re-elected in the provincial election of 1987, and was appointed Minister of Skills Development on September 29, 1987. He served in this capacity until August 2, 1989, when he left his cabinet position.

 

Hon. Dr. Alvin Curling held a position as Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) in Waterloo, Ontario, from June 2007 until May 2010. He also served as Co-Chair of the Premier’s Task Force on the Review of the Roots of Youth Violence. In the mid-2000s, Curling was honoured by the government of Jamaica with a Rank of Distinction. He holds the title of Commander.

Michael Udah

MichaMichael Udahel Udah holds multiple credentials, from a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with emphasis on Human Resources from The Lagos State University, Ojo ,

a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from The University of Lagos, Akoka, to a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Before joining IBPD Michael Udah was sub-editor, Capital Market,   Reporter, Information & Technology Reporter and later Deputy Editor in BUSINESS TIMES, a publication of the Daily Times of Nigeria PLC between 1999 and 2001.
He had a stint in Hallmark National Newspaper, Lagos, where he initially functioned as Editor of the newspaper and later as Assistant General Manager (Public Relations & Marketing).
In 2006, he veered into the Public Service when he was appointed as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Anambra State, a position he held for eight years (covering the two consecutive terms of 8 years served by his Principal, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, CON).
Udah is a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors; Nigeria Union of Journalists; Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Fellow of the Board of Administrators of Nigeria. He is a beneficiary of the International Visitor and Exchange Program of the US Department of State (2001).

Michael Udah is widely travelled and has been to France, Italy, Brazil, Dubai, Israel, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States. He has to his credit a number of newspaper articles, commentaries and analyses, some of which still attract readership on the Internet.

Michael Udah has also made several appearances on television and Radio, discussing politics, the Media and allied issues. Michael is currently a Media Consultant, operating as the Lead Consultant in Mikedah Communications Limited, an integrated, multi-variegated Media firm based in Lagos.
Michael hobbies are reading, intellectual discourse, mentoring and thinking.
